Website Than Pay You $500 ?

As a freelance writer, it can be a struggle to find high-quality paying work.

It often seems like the only options available are $5-per-article scams and work from content mills, which can seem like good opportunities — until you check your bank account balance and realize it’ll take ages before your hard work adds up into real earnings.

While finding quality paying work is difficult, it isn’t impossible. In fact, there are lots of publications that will pay you a premium to write for them.

It isn’t necessarily easy to get into these publications, and it may take time and experience to build up your writing to a level that will help you get paid these rates. But you can take solace in the fact that writing work exists beyond content mills and low paying gigs.

While there are probably tens of thousands of magazines that pay writers, a much smaller number compensate writers really well.

Here are 10 magazines that will pay $500 or more for an article. Click on the title of each magazine for additional submission information!

Samurai, Viking & Knight

The sound of shouting and clashing metal fills the air. Fallen enemies and allies alike litter the battlefield. Every encounter is a brutal, tactical fight to the death. Kill or be killed. For Honor puts a blade in your hand like no game ever has before and sets you loose in a medieval battle. This is a game for everyone who grew up dreaming of knights and epic melee battles. Step into the boots of some of history’s fiercest combatants – the loyal Knights (the Legions), the fierce Vikings (the Warborn) and the brutally efficient Samurai (the Chosen).

THE ART OF BATTLE

Using the new Art of Battle system, you will have full control over the placement of their weapons. You can attack and move around just like you normally would, and then you can also lock onto a single opponent and enter into a dueling mode. The second you lock onto a target, your right stick goes from controlling your camera to controlling your stance. If you flick to the right with your stick, you move to hold your sword or shield on the right side.
“Wherever you’re holding your weapon, that’s where you’re safe,” explains Creative Director Jason Vandenberghe. “You’re automatically blocking in that direction. So if I’m holding my sword to my left and you attack me on my left side, I’m going to block it. But if you attack me from the right or from above, I’m going to get hit. It takes time to change my stance, so I need to anticipate what you’re going to do.”
You’ll need to pay close attention to how your opponent is telegraphing their moves because if you leave yourself open to a heavy attack, you could find yourself out of the fight very quickly. You can perform a guard break to throw your enemy off-balance and give yourself time to quickly switch your stance to attack them where they’re vulnerable. Vandenberghe tells us to loosely think about this loop in terms of a fighting game. If you attack someone while they are defending, the attack won’t hit. Defense beats attack. Guard break beats defense. Attack beats guard break. You’ll need to be on the lookout for any move your opponent makes.
“We built the fighting system this way so that you’re really watching your opponent’s stance,” says Vandenberghe. “This is what you would be doing in a real fight. When you’re going up against someone with a weapon, you’re paying a lot of attention to where their weapon is. You care a lot because if you don’t… Well, the fight is over for you.”

DEFYING LABELS

But what is For Honor? It’s not just melee combat. It’s not just strategy. It’s not just any one thing. Rather, For Honor pulls inspiration from across the gaming board – fighting game combat systems mixed with some shooter reward loops and chaotic yet tactical battlefield scenarios.
“I haven’t actually been able to really put a name to For Honor’s genre,” Vandenberghe explains. “It’s close-quarters melee combat. ‘Shooter with swords’ is something we’ve been throwing around, and it’s pretty accurate. People have tried to call it a MOBA, but it’s not really a MOBA. It seems a little like one when you look at it, but it doesn’t play that way at all. I think what’s going to happen is we’re going to release the game and then our audience is going to name it. I think they will be the ones to really name that genre.”
This is why the game absolutely needed to be playable at E3 this year, says VandenBerghe. This is something totally new. The team can’t point to another game and say, “It’s a little like that.” People needed to be able to get their hands on For Honor to really understand what it’s all about.
“Medieval spec-ops” is another term VandenBerghe brings up, and this one sticks with us. It feels right. You are a unique warrior on a mission – wading through the battlefield with a clear objective in mind. You can slip into the fray and slaughter a few of the easy minions, but your true strength lies in your ability to go toe-to-toe with the other elite forces on the field.
“You’re the top one percent. The characters you play in For Honor are the difference makers. They’re the ones who get called in to finish the fight. The battle is about to be lost, but because these individuals showed up, the tide was turned. That’s how much these warriors matter. You are a true medieval badass, and you’re hunting other badasses on the battlefield to see just who the best fighter is.”

IT’S A SHOOTER… WITH SWORDS

But Vandenberghe keeps circling back to For Honor’s shooter inspirations, referring specifically to shooter loops. It all starts with match-making. You start a match, cycle through maps, meet your new team and destroy the battlefield together.
“For me this is just a great way to blow anywhere from 20 minutes to four hours or even twelve if I really feel like going for it,” he explains. “There are a bunch of reasons why this loop works for shooters and why it’s so enjoyable. Well, all those reasons can apply to melee combat too. But now it’s not going to be about line of sight. You’re not sprinting around trying to find cover. So it won’t be like a shooter in the micro experience, but the overall macro experience will be very familiar to fans of shooters. We even have things called Feats, which are sort of kill streak rewards. Once you gain enough points for yourself, you’ll be able to call in support attacks like catapults or arrow storms.”
On top of these support attacks, you might be able to get a burst of stamina or improve the attack ability of the minions around you. The Feats are designed to give you an extra edge on the battlefield, just like you might see in a shooter.

WHAT’S THE STORY HERE?

The team isn’t offering any details on the campaign experience just yet (save that there is one), but VandenBerghe did have this to say: “This campaign is really an invitation into our world. This is our special place. Knights and Vikings and samurai all fighting on the same battlefield? I’m no history major, but I can tell you that never happened. But it does happen in the canon of For Honor and the campaign is your introduction to this world.”

Full Time Blogger

Some of you may have noticed that since mid October 2011 I have moved quadrant of an employee being a full time blogger. As a note of this new profession, I plan to make a post every Monday on all the information and activity as a full time blogger.

There are two reasons I wrote it. First, I would like to give an overview to you all about the life of a full time blogger who sometimes underestimated by a handful of people. Secondly, I want to provide the information as accurate and transparent as possible that are likely useful for those who want to become a full time blogger.

In the first note, I first wrote my past as an employee at a foreign-owned nickel mining company located in Sorowako, South Sulawesi.

I worked at the company since 14 November 2005. The initial position that I occupy is Asisstant Chemist laboratory accredited Quality Manager. My responsibilities include creating and validating new working procedures, verifying the results of sample testing, provides training to lab analysts, and so on.

After three years, I was promoted to Chemist. In addition to responsibilities grew, my base salary was increased. Each year this salary increase again as my performance is pretty good.

Without felt my basic salary reached Rp 17,187,844 per month (with tax cuts to the state of Rp 2,462,645). Because the exchange rate of 1 dollar = Rp 8,500 per October 2011, the basic salary I was more than US $ 2,000.

Because I do not want to brag unexpectedly, below is a scan of my basic salary in April 2011. Click on the image to make it more clear.

When I decided to stop working, the family of the regretted my decision. Some even call me ungrateful to my income above.

I explained that being a full time blogger is a selection of my life who like to write. In addition, I was also tired of being an employee time-bound and rules. I want to work anytime and anywhere.

Cover

For me, a salary of $ 2000 is the past. There's no point lamented. It does not matter too unfortunate. The important thing is now I'm focused and hard-working as a full time blogger. I am sure: if I really meant it, then I'd managed to become rich and successful blogger.

Man jadda wa jadda (for those who are serious it will be successful).

Google Adsense Riched

Google Adsense is a program cost per click (CPC) is the most popular. Not surprisingly, sooner or later, a lot of bloggers who try it. Many who managed to earn thousands of dollars per month, but also many who have not been successful. One of them is me.
I put Google Adsense for content in one blog in English that I have had since October last year. Revenue over time (all time) today only $ 5.46. In other words I only produce $ 1 per month. The following four factors are causes.
According to Darren Rowse, income from Google Adsense follow the following equation:
Adsense Income = Total Traffic + Price + Ad + Ad Relevance Position and Advertising Design
Based on the above equation, I analyzed the adsense blog that I have.
1. Total Traffic
It is well known that visitors coming from search engines is quality visitors because they find the desired information so the odds click on ads more than other visitors. Logically, the greater the greater the chances of visitors who clicked on the ad.
Therefore, I also focus on seeking visitors from the search engines. Unfortunately, there are few visitors. As you can see in the picture below, the number of page views per month around the 300s. In other words, the day only 10 page views.
With the amount of traffic like that, of course, the income I earn too little. Why the traffic a little bit? At least the following matters affecting:
Total posts slightly. Since created 7 months ago, my English blog to only have 35 posts (5 posts per month). This of course affects the least number of posts are indexed in Google.
Not doing keyword research. I just write that I think would be much sought after, but it turned out this way is less than optimal. Need keyword research to see what keywords are searched.
2. Advertising Rates
The price-per-click advertising is the price of the ad in question (cost per click / CPC). Not all ads have the same CPC. There are ads that CPC is high (eg, credit cards, mortgages, golf, and loan), while there is also the CPC was small.
I took the keyword ads with CPC $ 1-3 with consideration of the number of competitors is not as much as the air-CPC keywords high. Therefore, a lower CPC and low traffic, the income was low.
3. Ad Relevance
I observe adsense ads that appear on my blog. Apparently a lot of ads that are not relevant to the content of the blog. As a result, the ad will be little chance clicked by visitors. It may be necessary to filter ads by using the tools that I am studying.
4. Position and Advertising Design
There is an anecdote among students that in the test position determining achievement. I am sure that the same applies to the Google Adsense ads. Ad position will ideally be easily seen that the greater chance of a visitor clicked. Impacts Click Through Rate (CTR) high.
During this time I only rely on the position and design (size and colors) provided the theme that I use. Surely this must be evaluated so that the position and design of advertisements which provide a high CTR.
That factors that make me just to earn a little bit of Google Adsense. How about you? Whether you've managed to earn money with Adsense? If yes, please share the experience below so that I and other friends got enlightenment.

Swagbucks Paying You Highly

Swagbucks is one the largest and most versatile when it comes to making money online. In this review, I will answer the question, "is Swagbucks legit", every option to make money, and show the best strategy to get the most money for your time. But first, I will answer any questions you came here to learn.

Swagbucks is and can you make money with Swagbucks.com?

I just wrote a review for the company after I really try them out and have been paid. That way you know that the review is based on my actual experience.

Bonus: If you want to get a free survey taking tips and a list of top recommended survey companies I make sure to subscribe here. Now let's get into how I get this Amazon gift card in the least time possible.

How To Make The Most Money From Swagbucks - In Depth Review

Because I want to review the survey took the company as deep as possible, I always start with the basics. I will cover the restrictions, what payment you can expect, if they have a mobile app or not, and topics like that. Then I will show you the best tips for using Swagbucks.

Sign Up Process: Signing up for Swagbucks is very simple. Click on this link, fill in the information or join via Facebook, then confirm your email. You're ready to start earning Swagbucks immediately and there is no cost to join.

Minimum Payout: On Swagbucks, you earn points, called SB, for everything you do. You can redeem Reviews those points for just about any gift card or even PayPal cash. The minimum payout depends on what you would like to do with your SB. You can donate them in as little 5SB to Air Donor. But soon, the most popular payouts are Amazon gift cards or Paypal cash.

When it comes Amazon gift card, it is best to cashout $ 25. There are options for gift cards as low as $ 3 (for 300 SB), but you only need 220 SBfor your first $ 25 gift card every month (saving you 300 Swagbucks - enough for another gift card).

For Paypal cash, the minimum is 2,500 for $ 25. I almost always do Paypal, but since I use Amazon all the time, and had a chance to save Swagbucks I went with the $ 25 Amazon gift cards for my payout.

Ways to Earn Money: Swagbucks has the most ways to get the money that I have seen with any website. I will list them all out for you here, but below I will share with you which one is best and how to best use them.

Shop at your favorite retailers through Swagbucks
Use Swagbucks search

Achieve your daily goal of Swagbucks (Winning streaks get even better. Ex. Achieving your goal 7 consecutive days)
Redeem Swag Codes
My Personal Survey Qualification Percentage: I only did 3 survey, and qualify for the second out 3. It is way too small of a sample size to conclude anything. I explain below why I do not do a lot of surveys.

Surveys Legal: I was invited to a survey about 2-3 days via my email. But soon, through the site there are many more surveys to do. But as I mentioned above, I focus my time on other ways to make money.
